We need 175cm of 5mm braided line, two bolt snaps (only stainless steel ones, bought from the dive shops), a piece of gardening hose of about 30cm long and with a diameter of about 15mm, and a stainless steel clamp, adapted to the tank diameter (fig. 1).

The line will be folded in two, such way that one end is longer than the other with about 22cm. The line is then inserted into the hose, letting it exit on the other end by about 20cm (fig. 2).

On this end we will make an overhand knot, including one of the bolt snaps (fig. 3). We tighten the knot as hard as we can.

On the other end we will place another overhand knot, as close to the hose as possible (fig. 4).

The free ends will be linked together with two fisher’s nodes (fig. 5, 6).

In the created loop we attach the other bolt snap (fig. 7).

The rig is ready, all we have to do is attaching it to the tank (fig. 8, 9, 10).
